Formed over a decade ago, Boulevard Swing has evolved into one of the finest big bands in the South West.
Frank Sintra, Michael Bublé, Dean Martin, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Buddy Rich, and even Oasis, Van Halen and Nirvana – these are just a few famous names that you can find in our extensive swing library. Our huge repertoire includes swing classics from the 30s, 40s and 50s, numbers from ’Ol’ Blue Eyes’ and the Rat Pack, through to arrangements by some of the hottest jazz musicians around today.
Boulevard Swing’s line-up comprises a mixture of professional and semi-professional musicians, boasting five saxophones, four trumpets, four trombones, piano, bass, rhythm guitar and drums – all complemented by our excellent resident vocalist Mark Godfrey.

We specialise in all types of occasions, including weddings, dinner dances, corporate functions, private parties, outdoor festivals and charity balls – you name it!
Our versatility has given us the opportunity to perform at a number of top local events around the South West, including Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Bridgwater, Taunton and our home town of Weston-super-Mare. Some of these include big band weekends at holiday resorts in the West Country, local jazz festivals and 1940s spectaculars. Although, we’ve had just as much fun at birthday and anniversary parties, a few pub gardens, a speedway track and even a funfair in Wales!
